What is Kito?

Kito, meaning “precious stone” in Swahili, is an engaging and fact-based virtual program designed to guide boys through the complexities of puberty. Based on the Kito Workbook, a 7-level game-themed resource, the program follows the adventures of Mcharo, a knowledgeable guide, as he leads boys on a virtual expedition through the Taita Hills. Along the way, they uncover the wonders of puberty, explore the fascinating world of precious stones, and learn valuable life skills.
